Introduction

The purpose of this website is to attempt to gather additional information so that the ancestry and descendants of John Clemence Oliver and Mary Jane Pulliam can be more accurately recorded. One of our primary objectives was to find the parents of John Clemence Oliver in Virginia, which we believe we have accomplished as a result of the outstanding work of Sheila Schmutz. In addition, as a result of the participation of one of our Oliver cousins in the “Oliver Family y-Chromosome DNA Project” at "Family Tree DNA" we believe we have found the Oliver line that John Clemence Oliver and his father descend. Our one missing piece is that we currently do not know how the father of John Clemence Oliver connects to the Oliver line that was identified in the y-Chromosome DNA test results.
